With the software image 26.07, Roboception has released a new object category in its rc_reason ItemPickAI software module, enabling reliable pick-and-place of ‘mail items’.

Optimized for the automated handling of mail items such as parcels, packages and shipping bags, this new model type reliably computes centered suction grasp points on objects that can vary widely in size, shape, weight and surface properties.
