The 3D stereo sensor detects and prioritizes the randomly arranged objects. This means that the software structures which component is best to pick and determines an optimal sequence. The integrated path planning calculates the collision-free path for bin picking, including all the angles to be picked – part by part from the bin. Using the fifth axis, the robot wrist, enables much more precise angles for gripping.
