Universal Robots Pick Package

The integration of our rc_visard stereo sensor and rc_reason pick applications with your UR robot* is now easy. We have developed a URCap that enables a plug-and-play installation and usage.

Enhance the capabilities of your UR robot* with our rc_visard and your selected rc_reason application by purchasing the following items as a package (and receive a price discount compared to buying them individually):

Select your preferred rc_visard and software module below. Your sensor and software will be delivered together with the following elements:

  • URCap software (for download and on USB device)
  • CalibrationGrid UR (small), specifically designed for UR robots
  • ConnectivityKit (large, network cable 5m)

 

We also recommend to add the RandomDot Projector and the corresponding IOControl Module to your order – especially when lighting conditions are challenging.

When selecting BoxPick or SilhouetteMatch, the usage of the RandomDot Projector including the IOControl Module is mandatory.

IOControl

IOControl is a software module that can be added to the rc_visard’s basic on-board software. It allows usage of the sensor’s digital IOs to control external devices such as the RandomDot Projector.

  • Tailored output mode for RandomDot Projector
  • Suitable for use with any rc_visard (monochrome and color)

RandomDot Projector

The RandomDot Projector is a specifically tailored projector that can be used as an enhancement to the rc_visard when the perception of particularly difficult scenes with little or no natural texture is required.

  • Tailored white LED projector projects random dot pattern
  • Enhances perception results when scene texture is low
  • Can be mounted over scene or directly on sensor
  • Suitable for use with any rc_visard (monochrome and color)
