ACT: The application closes the loop!
Our 3D stereo sensor portfolio and modular software suite support a wide variety of applications in a number of domains. Roboception contiuously develops new off-the-shelf vision solutions that are modularized and thus versatile and flexible to use and extend, as well as customer-tailored applications. Requirements are developed in line with the market’s or individual user’s needs and then translated into products.
You’d like to know more about how we “literally became part of the development team” for a high-throughput logistics solution, cut cycle times in half for a de-palletizing application, or how – thanks to our sensors and software – a “perfect” feeding solution for over 100 different parts was implemented in a production facility?

“We added a third dimension into our pick-and-place process.”
When their kitting cell presented with too much downtime and required too much engineering, Danfoss turned to Roboception looking for an alternative to the 2D pick-and-place solution in place.
High-resolution 3D stereo sensors and a sophisticated mix of machine learning and classical image processing exceeded their expectations.
“… literally became part of our development team.”
When TGW Logistics Group was tasked to develop a system for automated item picking, they chose two rc_visard 160 as their vision component. On top, we developed an individual software solution.
The resulting system – TGW’s award-winning “PickCenter Rovolution” – is a true game-changer!
“…we were able to […] provide […] the perfect solution.”
Following some rather unsatisfying attempts at using vision systems in the past, Danish integrator Quality Robot Systems (QRS) gave it one more shot and turned to Roboception and the rc_visard.
A success: For their customer Danfoss, they implemented robot cells capable of automatically feeding over 100 different components.
“Our customer is very impressed.”
Read how Kautenburger GmbH (Germany) was able to impress their Spanish customer Kelsen with a seemingly simple and cost-efficient modification, flawlessly implemented:
The vision component reduced the cycle time for a pick-and-place from 18 to nine seconds and hence allows for more efficient handling.
“… takes our software to a whole new level.”
With a very extensive list of requirements, RG Technologies looked for a reliable vision solution to detect the contours of leather pieces as well as marked faults and quality zones.
And although their application does not even include any robots (!), they found their perfect solution using Roboception’s rc_visard 160.
